Eggstra Eggstra!

Happy Wednesday! Today I want to share with your a quick DIY craft for your Easter table using our Free Easter water bottle wrappers.  Our wrappers not only fit perfectly on water bottles and glass beverage jars, they can double as plastic egg holders for your party table!

Print on card-stock then just cut along the lines of the wrappers, adjust to fit as a base for your plastic Easter egg and secure with double sided tape.

Then write your guests names on the egg using your favorite permanent marker. Vinyl lettering works great too! (I also sneak in a special surprise in the egg.)

And that's it! A cute personalized place "card" for your party.

Eggstra tip:
Cut them out with decorative scissors for extra flare.

Thanks for stopping by, stay tuned for more Easter ideas!

Monster Bash for a Special Lil' Monster

Boys rule my house and what 2 year old boy isn’t a lil’ monster? So naturally, a monster party was in order to celebrate my youngest son’s 2nd birthday. I fell in love with these goofy little monsters and to put my own spin on the monster theme, I incorporated black and white polka dots, monster eyeballs and stripes throughout the party decor and stationary. I made almost everything at the party, including the table runners and ribbon banner. I used my cricut to make the birthday banner, cupcake wrappers, pinwheels and signs. We had several activities for the children, a Piñata, Pin the Eye on the Monster game, Create-A-Monster station, Activity Placemats, Monster Hats, Monster Toss and Monster Bowling. We also had a huge dessert table and a photo booth. The day was filled with fun, laughter and cherished memories! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the day:

DIY Easter Favor Baskets

Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to show you a little craft my son Gavin and I did together last night for our upcoming Easter party (in just three quick steps)! These are so easy and inexpensive they would be perfect for a classroom Easter/Spring Party.

What you will need:

1. nut cups (you can find them in most craft & party stores, I ordered these from Pick Your Plum)
2. pipe cleaners
3. small hole punch
4. easter grass
5. candy

Step 1:
Punch two holes in opposite sides of the cups near the rim

Step 2:
Fold pipe cleaner in half than twist and put one end through one hole in the cup.  Then put the other end through the other hole in the cup and arch the pipe cleaner to make a "handle".

Step 3:
Fill with grass and candy of your choice!

We made 8 of these little treat baskets in less than 10 minutes, talk about easy, fun and super quick!

Thank you for visiting and more Easter party ideas to come!

Surf's Up!!!

Our friend Courtney at Buttercream Bling and Picture Perfect Party Designs threw this awesome birthday party for her son Avery...well, let me just have her tell you all about it:

"With 2 boys I am always searching for fun, fresh party ideas. There seems to be a never ending supply of cute girls themes, but for some reason, boys always end up getting the short end of the stick in terms of 'cuteness'. So when the idea to do a surfer boy theme hit me, it really hit me. I loved the idea of the bright colors, the surf boards and the fun slang phrases! I could not wait to start planning his surfer boy bash!

I knew I wanted boy colors and I knew I wanted them to be bright, so Orange, Lime Green and Bright Blue seemed like a natural place to start. I themed the entire party around those 3 colors. I also loved the idea of re-purposing sand pails, and using them as containers for both the dessert table and the food tables. After that it all fell into place. Stephanie of Suckersbysteph was amazing to work with, she provided the Chocolate #2 pops, the round pop favors, and the printables. My friend Maria Sauerbrei did all the photography, and Michelle (from Party Plan-It) designed our fun welcome sign. I created the surf's up banner, the name blocks, the cupcake stands and styled the table through Picture Perfect Party Designs. The marshmallow pops, cookies, cupcakes and all other goodies were through my cupcake boutique Buttercream Bling.

The kids had a blast, the weather here in Az was a perfect 78 degree's that day."

What a terrific party! Thank you Courtney for sharing and letting us be part of Avery's big day!
